It is in face washes for acne.

it is used in acne medicine. works pretty good.
my sister got tinnitus from the airplanes, and she was prescribed salyclic acid drops to her infected ear..
It is used in Acne treatment products, for example, Noxema.
it irritates my face when i use a facewash made with salycilic acid. and yes, it is in aspirin.
In it's analgesic form it has many uses and comes in many forms.Generally, it's used to help with minor pain.
Low dose aspirin for prevention of stroke after Myocardial Infarction
Normal dose for pain relief
It is the ingredient in aspirin. It helps to control inflammation, fever, and pain.
It is also in many over-the-counter acne medications.
as a mild analgesic, it's aspirin
Salicylic acid is used to treat acne, as has been correctly stated already. However! Salicylic acid is NOT aspirin. Aspirin's proper chemical name is Acetylsalicylic acid. They are related, but NOT the same thing. I would not recommend taking salicylic acid for a headache; you'll only irritate your throat if you try that.
Salicylic acid is used in many common anti-acne treatments. Usually the concentration is only about 2% in topical face washes and gels. Anything more than 5% can really shrink some major sores.
