heartburns about a month now.its not the first time.?

except medication what can i eat to be "relieved"??
Answers:
Take Prilosec OTC. You have to take it everyday for 2 weeks but it works really well. I used to have really bad acid reflux and I took it and now I don't have it anymore. Also try to stay away from really spicy foods.
eat less, eat less fatty foods, it will probably solve it.
Get checked for duodenal ulcer or reflux esophagitis. Why keep suffering and asking here instead of getting help?
water with a little baking soda
I think u need medical attention. Probably u are undergoing some stress. Eat a lot of fruits to get more vitamins into ur blood, rest a lot more and do less tedious jobs.
Hi-
Long term 'heartburn' needs to be checked out. There are multiple causes.
E.Pilorus infection
Gastric Reflux
Stress
refered pain from other organs
cardiovascular problems
dietary intolerance(s)So, get a diagnosis that makes sense, get a 2nd opinion if you need to. then post again. It's important to determine what is causing the heartburn, as different reasons will require differetn treatments- some of these things changing your diet does NOTHING for.
the papaya has a natural enzyme for digestion/indigestion. you can also buy in tablet form at health food stores and some grocery stores..
