have you seen a more pessimistic doctor more than this one?

I've heard that being a doc is the most satisfying job, I've seen lots of doctors and 99% of them are happy with their jobs, ER docs say they like their job so much because they can be with patients more than other docs, and ER doc have less work hours than most of other practitioners.

I work in the medical profession and have worked closely with ER doctors and other doctors, too and sadly, what this person is saying is the truth. Doctors get sued for some many stupid reasons that they have to protect themselves in many ways to even continue practicing. They also get stiffed a lot of times on their bill. Sure they make good money, but would you like to wait to be paid 246 days for a service you performed on a Medicare patient. That's what the pay schedule is in my state right now.Yes, it is a pessimistic view, but I bet you he started out as they all do, with a good, happy heart and has been burned so many times that that happy spirit has dimmed.
